So we kicked off our One Day Bonding Camp with a short
bonding session! The individual groups played short games to get to know each
other better.
Station 1: Runway Show
Our dear members making their unique Hanboks!
10 photos taken at unknown places would be
given. The group has to find the exact location and strike the exact same poses
like those in the given photos.
EXPLORING SEOUL!
‘Exploring Seoul’ is Korean Cultural Club’s very own version
of the Amazing Race. Interested in the different stations?
1. Gyeong Bok Gung (Historical Site of Korea)
Our dear members making their unique Hanboks!
Station 2: Back to Basics
It is a game during which the participants play traditional
games like ‘Five Stones’ and The Bottle Cap Game.
Station 3: King SeJong’s Inventions
Participants are to remember the Korean alphabets and form a
sentence in a relay manner!
2. Gangnam
Station 1: Shopping Experts
Oh no, is she stuck?
The group members will be
standing in a straight row and a topic will be given. Everyone has to answer
correct yet different answers. If someone has already given a specific answer,
it can’t be used again. They will have to say the answer within 3 seconds each
to complete the game!
Station 2: Auditions
Have you watched 2 Days 1 Night? Then you might just know
this game!
Members will have to overcome an obstacle each and they will
have to complete their mission one after another. Every mission is to be completed
by the end of 100 seconds, or else they will have to start all over again! Any
mistakes in between will also require them to start over!
Station 3: Homestay
The stationmaster
will ask the group to acquire a list of items within the allocated time limit.
3. Hongdae
Station 1: Photos speaks A Thousand Words
Can you guess
what they are posing for?
Here’s the
answer!
Station : You’ve got the Groove (Sorry for
the cheesy name! ><)
Can you dance? Come and join us!
Station 3: All for One, One for All
And finally after the long day of games,
THE
SEOUL HUNT
The entire course is made up of 4 smaller
sections. The goal of the game is to find the Haechi. Participants can only
move when our game masters chant: “Who will find the Haechi?” Once the last
word of the sentence is said, they are not allowed to move. Nope, not even a
smile.
If you moved, back you go to the starting
point!!!
PART 1: The participants are to get to the
checkpoint for the second part of the race.
Part 2: Participants are to play Scissors,
Paper, Stone with the station masters, and they can only pass if they win.
Part 3:
Guess what we have prepared?
If you are lucky, you will get a drink of
Coke. If you’re not, you will still get Coke. However, this Coke is made up of
50% Coke and 50% salt.
Part 4 & 5:
Participants can start to tear off their
opponents’ wrist tags. BUT when the chant stops, the people that are found
moving will have to proceed back to the Part 4 starting point.
Of course, amidst all the mess, participants are to
remember the codes pasted on the floor and try unlocking the padlocks on the 4
bags available, with the code that they have memorized.
Out of the 4 bags, only one bag will contain the
Haechi. Participants have to work well with their group to win this game!
At the end of the day, we had our prize
presentation and that was the end of our One Day Bonding Camp!
Hope everyone enjoyed the camp and those
who had not joined us, please do join us the next year!
Not only so, our Committee and all the
helpers played an important part in making all these possible. Thank you very
much!
