Guess what? YEAH! It is Christmas eve! Which means, we are only 8 days away from 2012!

I hope it's been a pleasure to be a part of KCC in 2011. We will try our best to do even better in 2012!

Its been a very long time since I last updated the blog because of internship and this will be the last time.
Anyway, KCC will be having our Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2011 this coming week.
As its our last KCC session for 2011, it will be different from the usual session that we have. Also it will be an exciting evening as there would be live performances. Its a surprise as to what would be happening. Light refreshments would be provided & CCA points would be given too!!!

Though it is the start of the Common Test week, we really hope to see you guys there.

Preliminaries:
3 Dec 2011 for Ngee Ann students,
10 Dec 2011 for Secondary School students.

Eligibility
- Open to all existing Ngee Ann students and Secondary school students in Singapore
- Participants must be within age range of 13-25 years
- All performing groups must have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 members

Terms and Conditions
- Only KPOP dance allowed
- NP Korean Cultural Club will not be held responsible for any injuries/deaths resulting from the performance
- NP Korean Cultural Club is authorized to use any part of the competition (including pictures and videos from the competition) for any purpose under the club
- Profanity or vulgar lyrics are not allowed in any vocal performance or dance music
- Performance attire must be kept at a respectable and tasteful level. Nudity is not allowed.
- Pyrotechnics, open flames or any other dangerous additions are not allowed
- Sound Technician and microphone(s) will be provided. You must provide your own CD music, taped music, instruments, props, keyboard, etc., if needed

ANNUAL CAMP!

HI BABES AND HUNKS!

CAMP IS ROUND THE CORNER! I know you all must have been very excited for it right ?? ^^

So here are the details:

Camp Dates: 31st Aug - 2nd Sep 2011

Assemble Time & Location : 10 am sharp @ Lt 51B

Attire : Dark color t-shirt with slippers!

* We will be leaving our belongings in the Lecture hall and check in at around 2pm!

Things to bring:

- 4 set of dark color clothing ( as we will be playing some dirty games :D )

- 4 set of undergarments

- Towel

- Slipper

- Comfortable covered shoes ( as we will be running around a lot )

- Toiletries

- Toothbrush and toothpaste!!!!

- Water bottle

- Umbrella/Poncho

- Torch Light

- Medication ( optional )

- EZ-Link Card with at least $10 value in it ( we will be travelling outside for games! )

- Sufficient Cash if you want to buy any snack to eat

* You may choose to bring your valuables such as laptop and mobile phone, but we will not be held responsible for any missing items.

Here are the details for form collection:

Venue: Underpass at Ngee Ann

Date: Tuesday, 31th May 2011

Time: 1pm-2pm and 2.30pm-6.30pm

Please come with your forms printed out, picture attached ( you can use computer to print and cut it into passport size ) and filled in :)

Tomorrow will be the last day for the form collection, so please hand them in by tomorrow :)

I hope that you all have enjoyed the movie at the last sessions :)

Anyway our school is having a new rule which requires all the members of the clubs to sign up a few forms in order for them to be considered the actual members of the clubs. The forms include:

- Health Declaration Form

- CCA Registration Form

-Social Contract with Korean Cultural Clubs

For those of you who have already registered for the Dance audition this coming Wednesday and Saturday, here are the details ,


First audition will be held on 25th May (Wednesday), 6-9pm
Second audition will be on 28th May (Saturday), 11am-3pm.

*Please be PUNCTUAL for all audition! (:

Reporting Venue:

Block 73, Studio #03-05

DRESS CODE: DANCE ATTIRE
*Strictly no slippers.

Procedure for the audition(This is how it's goes..... )

Firstly, participants will be given a number tag. (Based on 1st come 1st served)


Secondly, you guys will be taught a 30-45 sec choreo dance.
(NO FREESTYLE REQUIRED for this audition.)


Thirdly, after learning, participants will have 10 min to prepare for the audition.
*Participants will be group for the actual audition.

Exactly 1 week till school starts!
Anyhooo, the first 2 days of next week is CCA Fiesta. It's when the new Year 1 students come in & choose their CCAs (which you guys have gone through last year).
So, we will be opening our own KCC booth & we would like to open the tending of the booth to all of you!

DATE: 18th & 19th April 2011 (Mon & Tue)
TIME: 10am-6pm
VENUE: To Be Confirmed

If you do not have any lessons between 10am-6pm, you can volunteer to help at our booth! And most importantly, CCA POINTS WOULD BE AWARDED!!!

As mentioned in the last post, monday was the final KCC session for this term/semester.
