Anneong Haseyo~!

Anyway i will go straight to the point!

Korean singer Lee An launched his first album, "The Birth" in Jan. 2007 in Singapore.
His 2nd album "Us,Our Future" was released recently in May 2008.
The album consist of 3 Korean-Mandarin songs sung by him.
And one of it was written by him.
This is a new and exciting challenge for him as, before the making of this album,
Mandarin was completely foreign to him. In order to engage better with
his fans he started learning Mandarin through watching cartoons and local dramas.
This is the result of his effort that he hopes to make into Singapore and
subsequently other Asian countries.

This is a first for a Korean singer, who makes Singapore as
his career base venue, to sing in Korean and Mandarin bi-language.

After his recent performance @ St. James Power Station Dragonfly,
he will be holding his 2nd school concert to bring his music to local cmpus!
(The 1st school concert was last year @ Temasek Poly)

Details of the event :

Date - 11 July 2008 Friday
Time - 1200pm
Venue - NANYANG POLYECHNIC

Anyone who is interested pls email your name ,contact number, to

Korean Programmes on Radio

Korean programmes will soon be aired on local radio! :)

I'm sure many of you have already heard about this, but I'll still put in the details for those not in the know.

From 1 Feb 2008 onwards, Korean programmes will be airing on 96.3FM from 9pm to 11pm on weekdays. The programme will consist of the latest Korean pop songs, information about Singapore (for the Korean expatriates leaving here) and also the latest Korean news.

From www.marketing-interactive.com:
"We're convinced that the programme will be well-received not only by the Korean community in Singapore, but also by Singaporeans who would like to have a taste of the Korean culture. And we certainly hope that this program will serve as a platform for Singapore and Korea in exchanging content and entertainment initiatives," Lisa Cheong, CEO of Briyo Media, said.

Have lots of fun listening to this new programme! Meanwhile, keep reading this blog as we'll be updating this regularly.

See y'all next Semester! Good luck for all your exams! :)

Loves,
Charlene
