Here are some of the highlights of the Korean Flavour Fiesta held at VivoCity:
Opening Ceremony
Hosted by Channel NewsAsia’s Suzanne Jung, the ceremony begins with welcome greetings from Minister George Yeo and Ambassador Kim. Enjoy sizzling performances from B-Boy and drum troupes, followed by the symbolic mixing of a “Big Bowl of Bi-Bim-Bap” to signify harmonious ties between Singapore and Korea. Bi-Bim-Bap will be served to guests after the ceremony.
Fusion Drum Performance by DoDo
Five Korean ladies deliver the rousing heartbeat of traditional Korean drum performance.
Taekwondo Demonstration by Singapore Taekwondo Federation
Marvel at the strength and agility of experts at Taekwondo, a Korean martial art with over 2,000 years of history and one of the world’s current favourite sports.
Sa-Mool-No-Ri by Kim Ik Sang
Be entertained by the traditional Sa-Mool-No-Ri ensemble of 4 musical instruments: drum, double-headed drum, gong and small gong.
B-Boy Showdown by Last For One
Winner of the 2007 World UK B-Boy Championship, Korean B-Boys “Last For One” are in town to thrill with sensational moves you’ve never seen before!
K-Pop Talent Contest
Performers from many countries and from our own island come to show off their various talents that involves K-pop in the semi-finals and finals held at the outdoor stage.
Indulge in Korean Flavours
With seasonal and traditional Korean foods before you, just one sight is sure to whet your appetite. Taste the dishes you’ve seen in popular Korean dramas and films, plus popular delights like Kim-Chi pancakes, Bul-Go-Gi and Jap-Chae.
Lastly there will also be free Kimchi classes and a Korean Food Product Fair as well!

there will be a Korean Full-Moon Festival going
on around September at Square 2.
Date: 1-14 September 2008
There will be a Korean Food Festival and they will
also be selling korean mooncake..
U can also try on their handbok from 2-5pm daily.
From the 5th to 14th, there will be various traditional
Korean perfromance such the instruments and their folk songs.
Korean singer Lee An will be performing on the 14th Sept.
Am sure most of u already know about one of the
prince of Coffee Prince, Lee Eon passed away from
an accident 2 days ago.. sigh* may he R.I.P.
